ICC may revoke suspension, if Zimbabwe did this..........
Zimbabwe cricket players and their fans facing the worst ever part in their life. International Cricket Council suspended them from playing International cricket. It means they were no more a member of ICC. They cant able to play any ICC tournaments until ICC revokes the suspend. They cant able to play with other teams who are the members of ICC. Literally, they cant able to play anymore. This hurt them worse than when their team fails to qualify for 2019 World Cup. Even their star player Solomon Maire announced his retirement because of this suspension.
Those who born at the end of 20th century will never forget the Zimbabwe cricket team. The combination of white and black players surprised many teams including Australia. They were at the peak of cricket world between 1996 to 2004. Many countries having a separate cricket boards to maintain their national team. Even India had an individual body named BCCI. Like them Zimbabwe having a cricket board and maintaining their team successfully until the interference of Zimbabwe politics. Since Zimbabwe is not a democratic, they are not conducting proper elections for both nation and cricket board. From the starting itself ICC opposing this kind of approach from Zimbabwe politics. Finally, they suspend the team and hereafter zimbabwe wont get any benefits from ICC including fund.
What should they do now???
Zimbabwe players doesnt know what to do in this situation. The problem is not with them, still they became the victims. Brendon Taylor and Solomon Maire tweet desperately about this action of them. Because of this suspend, Zimbabwe having a big problem, they cant able to participate in the qualifier tournament for ICC T20 World cup 2020. But they have one option, If Zimbabwe government conduct the election for both cricket board and nation in democratic way, means people should vote and elect their representative. ICC may revoke the suspension on them and Zimbabwe can play international cricket.
