How???
XT500 Enduro - 1976 |
Yamaha doesnt wants to take much risk by designing new model for this project. They have decided to move with their existing model XT500. It is an old off road model with twin valve single cylinder was launched in the year 1975 and sustained till 1989 in the market. The four stroke engine of XT500 had 499cc Engine with 5speed manual gearbox. Almost all the parts were produced in Japan itself right from Chassis to Transmission. Now XT500 gonna get new changeover in the form of Hydro soul.
New XT500 H2O Concept model |
Ofcourse Yamaha made new version of many old models and succeed. The off road bike going to get many changeover in both looks as well as in features. Austrian bike designer Maxime Lefebvre gave a new Hi-Tech Sporty design to XT500 for its H20 concept. Lefebvre designed the new edition as a modern replica of existing one. Concept image reveals the new XT500 H2O contains Naked structure, Mono suspension under the seat, one side swing arm, catchy handle bars and LED headlights.
Even though its a water powered bike, it doesnt need any kind of technology for separating Hydrogen and Oxygen for running the bike. Then how it will work?????....... A special motor is there to pump the water inside a closed loop system, pressurized water from the loop will give enough power to the wheels. Concept is more or less similar to the existing conventional powered vehicles. But remember still it is in conceptual phase and Yamaha planning to launch the model by 2025.
