Two Indians bags Asia's Noble prize- Magsaysay Awards
If anyone asks you which is the biggest award in the world? Obviously everyone will answer "yeah i know its Noble prize". I regret deep for those who doesnt know this answer too. But if anyone asks you which award is called as Asia's Noble prize? then most of those answered for the first question will remains quite. Know here it is " Magsaysay Award". This award is giving in the name of Philippines Ex president Ramon Magsaysay.
This proud award is giving for the people who are all belong to south Asian countries and achieving in the fields like Public service, Govt service, art etc., 2018 Ramon Magsaysay Awards has announced few hours back. This time 6 people were going to receive this Honorable award. In this 2 from India and one each from Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines and East Taimor.
1. Sonam Wangchuk (India)
He has started an organisation named " Students education and cultural movement of Ladakh". With the help of this lot of Ladakhi students gets educated. In the last public exam students from this organisation produces outstanding result by giving pass percentage of nearly 95.
2. Bharath Vatwani (India)
He started a Rehabilitation centre named " Saradha Foundation" in 1988 along with his wife for taking care of mentally illed persons roaming in the Indian roads. They used to bring mentally illed persons from road and giving treatments to them, giving food and clothes to them. Once they recovered they will search their families and giving them their life back.
3. Howard Dee (Philippines) - for Human peace, Justice and contributing in economic growth of his country.
4. Maria De Lourdes Martins Cruz ( East Timor) - This lady receiving for his contribution in building the society brick by brick.
5. Ho Thi Haong Yen (Vietnam) - She is receiving this award for providing opportunities to differently abled person and showing a path for their life.
6. Youg Changg (Cambodia) - for preserving historical memory for healing and justice.
