There is a common fact between the crickets Allan Border, Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke. All of them were Australian players, All of them were once was australia captain. But the important one is All of them won worldcup when they lead the team. Allan Border opened their trophy collection in 1987. Steve did it one more time in 1999. Ponting went one step head and collect two trophies consecutively in 2003 and 2007. Michael Clarke joins with them in 2015. This time its Aaron Finch turn to join in this list. Will he do the same magic did by these captains?? Lets discuss more about the Australia XI for ICC World Cup 2019 at England and Wales.

Bastmen:
As we mentioned in previous part the team Australia having 5 proper Batsmen and a wicket keeping batsman in the squad. They are Aaron Finch, David Warner, Steve Smith, Usman Khwajah, Steve Smith and Shaun Marsh as bastmen. And Alex Carey as wicket keeper.
England pitches were good to swing the ball. Aussie definitely know this as they played many ashes series against the host. So it better to keep 3 fast bowlers. 1 wicket keeper is mandatory. and 1 spinner is must. So they can pick three more players in squad. The better option for those positions are Steve Smith, Glen Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis.

Now there is a slight confusion in their opening bat position. When warner undergoes a ban both Finch and Khawajah opened for Australia. But he returns now and booked his spot. Definitely both of them was not better than warner. The problem is who should open with Warner?? Khawajah is a left hander and was in good form. Finch is right hander his form not upto mark still he is more destructive than Warner. If finch opens with Warner that left and right hand combo will makes bowlers difficult to bowl. But inform Khawajah may start with rotating strike and keep wickets and Warner should destroy the bowlers. So its better Warner and Khawajah to open the innings and Finch has to come at No3.

Wicket Keeper:

Every world cup Australia used to send only one wicket keeper. But that is too much enough for them. And the legacy continue this year too. Alex Carey was the only keeper in this squad. I think their test captain Tim Paine will go along with team to England. If any injury happened to Carey he will fill the Keeper slot. Its a quite surprise for all why they picked Carey ahead of experienced Paine. But the fact his Tim Paine was hanging at the end of his career he is almost 35 now. More over Paine's average and strike rate is not much better than Carey. Being young Carey should learn many experience from the tournament. For Limited overs like one day and T20 definitely Alex Carey will be the best option over Paine. Carey should be more attentive while keeper because he can get more chances for catches when they having star bowlers like Starc, Cummins and Coulter nile at bowling end.

Middle Order & All-Rounder:
After one year ban Ex captain Smith back to squad. He didnt prove his form yet as like Warner. Still his skill and experience will help finch in taking decision and rotating bowlers. Smith will play definitely for sure at No 4. For 5th position no other player is better option than Glen Maxwell , a destructive batsmen and wicket taking spinner. Definitely this is the strongest position for aussie. If Marcus Stoinis joins with him at position 6 definitely aussie have 4th bowler and a good striker at death overs. In case if they need a spin they can use maxwell along with Lyon. We should not forget Steve Smith started his career as a spin all rounder only. So they have 2 part spin backup in their squad.

Spinners:

When coming to Spinners slot they should use Nathan Lyon a head of Adam Zampa. Because Lyon played many matches in Ashes at England than him. More than that he can able to score runs if a collapse happen at batting order. Aussie should use Nathan Lyon at no 8 as a spinner. If aussie need to two spinners to play there will a shortage in one fast bowler.

The Speed and Swings:

Eight slot filled as of now, still 3 fast bowlers pending. Whoever playing but Pat Cumming should come at number 9. He will be the key player for Australia at this world cup for sure. Not only as a bowler he can bat well also. Other two position filled with Mitchel Starc and Coulter Nile. Sometime they can use young Jhye Richardson replacing anyone of them. Our suggestion Coulter nile pace will work at Englang pitch. So based on pitch and team Aussie should rotate these three bowlers.

Other Players:
Still they have Shaun Marsh, Jason Behenderoff and Adam Zampa in squad. Shaun Marsh not in good form. He many get chance in case Steve Smith not perform well. He can be used as an alternative for Smith at no4. Otherwise Khawajah may take rest, Finch will open with Warner, Smith at no3 and Marsh can play at 4.

Jason Behenderoff was just a back up player only. So maximum he can play one or two matches only. Adam Zampa may replace Lyon in few matches. Apart from them some players also going with them for net practice and backup.

Best Playing XI:

1. David Warner
2. Usman Khawajah
3. Aaron Finch (C)
4. Steve Smith
5. Glen Maxwell
6. Alex Carey (wk)
7. Marcus Stoinis
8. Nathan Lyon
9. Pat Cummins
10. Mitchel Starc
11. Coulter Nile (or) Jhye Richardson

Coach: Justin Langer

Definitely this season wont be that much easy for Australia to retain the title. Current World Champions has to work hard for the next two months under Finch. They have to play with their full potential against teams like India, England, South africa and Newzealand. They should not easily take Bangladesh and Afghanistan too. Every game matters to qualify semi finals. Good luck Australia and Finch.
