One more country is there under the great Australia. That is a small country with lot of Kiwi's. Some times they were called as siblings of Australia. Many times they were considered as a Black Horse in Cricket World Cup. When other teams choosing some bright colours in their jersey to display their presence. There is one team which having Black as their Jersey Colour. They may not won the world cup but they appeared seven times in world cup semifinals. Yes they were called as "Black Caps" "Kiwis" or "New Zealand Cricket Team". Such a small country in south pacific having lot of active Volcanoes and players like erupting volcanoes.
As like South Africa they also deserve at least once to kiss the trophy. They have a long history of cricket along with Australia. They didnt had a godfather like Bradman in their country. But they had the all time best all-rounder Richard Hadlee. Some of the players were became the icon for Newzealand cricket like John Wright, Stephen Flemming, Chris Cairns, Martin Crowe, Shane Bond, Nathan Astle, Daniel Vettori, Brendon Mccullum and current sensation Kane Williamson. Kiwi's always were an unpredictable team in cricket history. Some time they were in good form and lost to a small team. Sometime they start tournament with worst game but will reach semifinals. Still worldcup is a dream for them. Lets see their world cup performance in previous season.

Once twice (1983 and 1987) in their eleven world cup appearance they came at first round itself. Two times Quater finals 1996 and 2003 (super six). Six times they came till semifinals (1975,1979,1992,1999,2007and 2011). Last time at their home they missed the trophy just by an inch. They were in good form in recent times. Blackcaps were one among the teams who can be the champions of world cup 2019.
Kiwi XI for World Cup 2019:
New zealand was the first country announced their team for world cup 2019. Kane Williamson, the world's best player of recent times is the Jockey for these Black Horse Squad. He have lot of responsibilities to win the cup as well as to prove him as best captain. The man who is going to ride the chariot means the coach is Gary Stead. They looks good enough to fetch the trophy.
But definitely they will miss their best wicket keeper batsman Brendon Mccullum in this season. In next post we will discuss about the team positive, negative and how their playing XI will be???
