Another Low scoring chase for CSK at Chepauk

                           As we already mentioned in our post that the current table toppers of the IPL 2019 were going to meet at MAC stadium Chennai and the match over now. Chennai Super Kings registered their 5th win in this season at moved to the top of the table. You should know how CSK controlled Kolkata hitters. Because last year in the same pitch thats the second match for CSK, Andrew Russell played an unbelievable innings 88 not out runs from 36 balls. But KKR lost the match because of Sam billings typhoon hit. That time Russell was is some what form, but this season he was in alien form almost scoring 50's in all the matches with less ball with strike rate of 188. With all these expectations we watched this match.

                       Chennai Super Kings won the toss and decided to field first. Both teams didnt do any changes from the previous  match. Once again the slow pitch played with both the teams. Deepak Chahar what a players he is??? bowled some extraordinary spell today. He got Lynn, Narine and  Uthappa very quickly in powerplay itself. Harbajan Singh supported him well and picked Rana. Dinesh and Gill tried to keep their wickets but both lose their wickets to Imran Tahir. At the point Russel came. Everyone reminding of the last year knock. But Dhoni's strategy was completely different he continuously using spinners Tahir and Bhajji to control him. Even Kuggeleijn bowled a over and control his mucscle a bit. Russel got a life from Bhajji, definitely its very difficult one to catch. because of that Russel scored 50 runs at the end of 20th over and KKR finished with 108 runs for losing 9 wickets. Chahar took 3 wickets, Bhajji and Tahir took 2 wickets and one for Jadeja.

                       Chennai started to chase another low target in that pitch after defeating RCB. Watson and Du plesis opened. Shane Watson tried to increase the runrate as much as he can in powerplay itself. Because of that he lost his wicket for 17 runs from 9 balls to Narine. Suresh Raina again played superb start and ends up with 14 runs, the same unnecessary shot. But this time also he got out from a super catch from Chawla. In all the 6 innings Raina came in powerplay itself to bat and tried to increase runrate in that because of that he is playing big shots and losing wicket. Then Faf and Rayudu played some test innings in that slow pitch. Chennai super kings chased the target at 18th over even after losing rayudu. Faf scored a unbeaten 43 runs, this is a consecutive good knock from the south african skipper, he scoredd 50 in last match. 

                    Both the team young bowlers Prasid Krishna and Deepak Chahar showed some superb deliveries. Dhoni once again picked the proper squad needed for Chepauk pitch. He used Chahar in powerplay and made him to bowl 3 overs. Jaddu and Bhajji bowled each one in powerplay. He kept Bhajji and Tahir only for Russel. It worked well. Lets see in the second half of this season.

                     We have to mention a special salute to Jadeja for his acrobatic fielding. I think its 14th over, Russel sends the ball to mid on. Jaddu running towards the ball towards right side. Its almost a six suddenly he jumped at right time and pushed ball inside then came and saved a boundary too. Being a left hander he did a perfect save with his right hand.
