Match 30: SRH Vs DC Post Analysis

Another middle Order Collapse for Sunrisers
Last year Sunrisers won many low scoring match with the help of their bowlers. That time they didnt have their best opener David Warner. Eventhough Kane Williamson became an anchor and saved SRH batting. This year except opening batsmen no other middle order batsmen scored runs. In that situation finally Williamson back to squad in yesterday's match against Delhi Capitals. Playing in Hyderabad is the positive for SRH team. Because of that Delhi Capitals included their T20 specialist Colin Munro in the squad.

Delhi batted first after the toss. They opened with Prithvi Shaw and Shikar Dhawan. We know about Shikar, he usually will score a big knock in a tournament after that he will lose his wicket easily. The same thing happened both Shaw and Dhawan lost their wickets to Khaleel Ahmed. But T20 beast Colin Munro and DC skipper Shreyas played a brilliant innings by overcoming SRH strong bowling up. They faced a bit difficulty in playing Rashid Khan. When the score was 69 for 2 Munro gone for 40 runs from just 24 balls. He did his job perfectly. Then Shreyas and Pant increasing DC score. Finally the decent knock of their skipper came to an end by Bhuvi. Once delhi were 125 runs from 15 overs. They can easily reach 160plus runs. But because SRH death bowling DC managed to score only 155 runs. Khaleel picked 3 wickets and 2 from Bhuvi.

And the real chase happened now. Bairstow and Warner made that target less and everyone will think SRH will win easily. When score was 72 runs in 9 overs Bairstow gone for 41 runs. Then the best Williamson came to bat, but he cant to keep his wicket and went to pavilion with only 3 runs. Warner made another half century in this season and keep the Orange cap with him . When score was 106 runs from 16 overs warner lost his wicket for 51 runs. No one expected that SRH will lose the remaining wickets for just 10 runs. Yes that happened at death bowling Rabada and Morris completely sweeped SRH batsmen. Except the openers no one didnt cross single digit. Once again their middle order weakness exposed and striked out. Definitely this is the biggest lose for SRH. Atleast now they have to realise and need to make changes at middle order. Yesterday they did one more mistake by keeping Nabi in bench. Once again Rabada picked 4 wickets and Morris, Keemo Paul shared 3 wickets each.

With this win Delhi moved to second spot in the points table. and SRH were at third from bottom. Every time SRH should not depends on warner alone to chase the target. If they continued the same definitely Playoff will be a dream for Sunrisers.
