Finch record breaking knock moves Aussie to top

                                 Before six months Australia were seems like a amateur team in world cricket. Many people came to an conclusion that they cant defend the title. Later they won series against India at their home and announcing everyone that the defending champions were also in the race of ICC WC 2019.  Just before the world cup they included their big strength Warner and Smith in squad. Now they are sitting at the top with four wins and a loss. Dont know while playing in big tournaments alone Australians playing like a champion. Before this match itself everyone know the result. As expected Aussie won the game, but Sri lanka helped other teams by revealing Aussie's squad weak in this tournament. 

                                  Australia bat first with their incredible openers David Warner and Aaron Finch. Both started well, but de silva strikes double by taking Warner and Khawajah in his spell. Finch and Smith joined hands together and increased their score. Finch was in T20 mode, he left the good balls and punished all the bad length balls to boundaries. Steve smith supported him much at that time. Finch smashed his first century in ICC WC 2019. He scoring very quick as a result of his knock Australia crossed 270 runs in 42nd over. Finch fall for 153 runs from 132 balls with 15 boundaries and 5 sixes. This is the maximum score by Australian captain in world cup match. He broke the record of Ricky Ponting 140* runs against India in 2003 WC final. Steve Smith gone for 73 runs. After that Australia completely relied on Maxwell. Other batsmen failed to score some big at death overs it made Australia to score 334 runs only. Maxwell smashed 46 runs from 25 balls with 5 boundaries and 1 six and remains not out.

                                   Srilanka started the big chase well with Dimuth and Kusal Perera. Both the openers scored half century. Kusal gone for 52 runs and Dimuth gone for 95 runs as 3rd wicket. Another Kusal, Mendis alone scored some decent of 30 runs. As usual remaining SL batsmen left earlier as much as they can and Sri lanka went all out for 247 runs at 46th over. Mitchell stark middle over spell played a major role in the collapse of Srilankan batting order. Starc grabs 4 wickets, Cummins with 2 wickets and Kane Richardson with 3 wickets.  Its another lose for Srilanka and Australia moved to the table top with 4 wins from 5 matches. Still they have 4 matches remaining and need any two win or 1 win with 1 NR match.

Man of the Match: Aaron Finch

                                 Again and again Australia revealing their squad weakness. They had only one proper bowling option all rounder Marcus Stoinis in the squad. He left the tournament now due to injury. Mitchel Marsh came as replacement for him.Their biggest strength is top order Warner, Finch and Smith. Their biggest weakness now is their fifth bowler. Starc, Cummins, Richardson, Coulter are there still they need one full time bowler to complete the 50 overs. In match against Pakistan we saw that, At end Aussie had only one option for remaining 2 overs either its for Finch or Maxwell. Giving ball to part time bowlers at death is like committing suicide. But they won just because of Pakistan not having wickets. If they had any professional batsman at that time definitely it will be a big trouble for Aussie. Eventhough after facing this kind of situation. Finch preferred Shaun Marsh ahead of his brother Mitchell Marsh in playing XI. Shaun is suitable for test matches, but for one day Mitchel is better option and also Aussie can get one additional bowling option. Hope Finch will think about him in next match.
