British people filled the stadium just to see their home team to play against Bangladesh. This is third match for both teams. Both have won first game and lost in second game. So it like who will get their second win. England may be stronger than Bangladesh now, but their track record against Bangladesh in world cups were not good. Yes, out of 3 matches they won only one match against Bangladesh that too at super eight stage in 2007 world cup. But in their last two matches between them was won by Bangladesh both in 2011 and 2015 group stage. England fans expecting their team will change this history at their home.

With that expectation England bat first with Jason Roy and Johnny Bairstow. Scoring 300+ runs is not difficult for England nowadays. They proved that once again. Both together scored 4 boundaries and 3 sixes. England set a target of 387 runs for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh started their innings with Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar. From the starting itself they were struggling against Jofra Archer and Chris Woakes. With the result of this Sarkar gone for 2runs from Archer maiden over. After a short gap Tamim also went pavilion for 19 runs. While the openers struggling to face Archer and Woakes, Shakib Al Hasan easily deals them both. He didnt do anything like building innings and saving his wicket. He played his natural game, that innings result in third consecutive half century from Shakidb in this season. Along with another experienced player Mushfiqur Rahim scoring runs and build innings too. After building a partnerhsip of 106 runs Rahim lost his wicket to Plunkett.
