Ambati Rayudu retires from International
Here is the truth behind Rayudu's retirement.....
Denying opportunity is more painful than a defeat. But it became most painful when you are skilled and deserve it more than others. Yes, this the biggest reason behind Rayudu's retirement. Amabati Rayudu's cricket career was not easy like few cricketers. Because he represented team India when he was 28. Many of us know about this guy like Mumbai Indians wicket keeping batsman, Chennai Super Kings opening batsman and most importantly team India's 4th position batsman.
Unknown things about Rayudu is, he was the captain of 2004 U19 Indian team and players like Shikar Dhawan, Suresh Raina played under his captaincy. Most of us know IPL and few knew about ICL, which was dismantled later by BCCI. Rayudu played in ICL for his home team Hyderabad Heroes. But he came to light after playing IPL only. He played for Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in IPL which made BCCI selection committee pick this guy for team India. Rayudu played his debut match against Zimbabwe in 2013. Other than these teams he played for Baroda too.
Rayudu scored 602 runs with a century in IPL 2018 for Chennai Super Kings. BCCI selectors honored him with Blue Jersey. Ambati Rayudu's arrival in team India cleared the problem of No 4 batsmen in the team. Because is the one who performed well at No 4 than others like Manish Pandey, KL Rahul and Rahane. Till the end of 2018 everyone thought Rayudu will play in 2019 WC for India at No 4. Even he scored a brilliant 90 against New Zealand at their home. Captain Kohli and Ravi Shashtri openly claimed that they found perfect player for No 4 position. But everything changed when Australia visited India for ODI and T20 series. In first 3 matches Rayudu didnt performed well, so he lost his place. That pressure on him reflects in IPL 2019 also. Finally BCCI didnt include Rayudu in world cup squad which creates lot of controversies. Vijay Shankar and all rounder was selected ahead of him. "Vijay Shankar is a 3Dimension player" this is the reason told by BCCI when asked about the team selection.
So Rayudu brutually told them like, " I should wear 3D glass to see their performance". That tweet wrote his retirement too. Yes, because of one tweet BCCI rejected him and include Rishab Pant and Mayank Agarwal in the place of injured Dhawan and Vijay in the ongoing world cup 2019. Lot of complaints are there about the BCCI selection committee members. Those who are all putting comments about them or raising question about their selection will never get any chance in future. BCCI, Kohli and Ravi Shashtri giving lot of chances to KL Rahul eventhough he fail to perform, but why they left Rayudu for just 3 bad performance?????? Some how Rayudu is 33 now and knew that he will never get chance again, this forced him to announce retirement.
