Austria Government increases incentive for buying electric cars to their citizens... Did you how much? and from when?
As we all know the entire world now moving rapidly towards Electric vehicle because of Eco-friendly, hike in petrol and diesel price, many countries try to encourage the production and sales of Electric vehicles by giving subsidies. If the consumption of electric vehicle increases automatically the consumption of petrol and diesel will decrease. Literally means those countries government no need to buy crude oil from world market which saves lot of money. Thats why each and every country trying to switch electric mode in automotives.
Even people are willing to enter the new era of e-vehicles. But the problem is electric vehicles costs more than the vehicles running in petrol or diesel. More over they need some way to charge. Lack of charging stations also the reason for people not buying electric vehicles. Because of these reasons only government of each countries providing lot of incentive for electric vehicles and promoting car companies. Here we are going to see a country which recently announced more incentive in terms of promoting electric vehicles.

Austria, a small country from European Union increases the existing subsidy value for buying electric vehicles on last Monday. Austria's economy minister Leonore Gewessler announced that they are going to increase the incentive of buying new e-vehicles upto 5000 Euros ($5640) from the existing incentive 3000 Euros. This new incentive will gets effective from this July itself. So people who are all going to buy new electric cars in July will get this benefit. The incentive amount values nearly 4.3 lakhs in Indian Rupees. Such a big step from the Government of Austria.

For Electric bikes the subsidy value varies. People who are all going to buy new E-bikes from July will get 1200 Euros as subsidy. In addition to that the government going to tripling the number of charging stations. As of now Austria have 5500 charging across the country. Around 33000 e-vehicles registered in Austria by the end of May 2020. Out 3 electric vehicles running in the country 2 are commercial. It means commercial vehicle contributes more in sales. Because of the above statistics only Austria Government announced these incentives.
