Ben Stokes achieved a record in the ongoing test match against Windies.....Do you know what it is????

It has been 117 days since the last ever international cricket match played. Many series and matches called off just because of this pandemic COVID-19. Even there is NO hope for World T20 which is scheduled to be held at Australia in the month of October 2020. The same situation in the case of domestic series too. Players did not practice in the ground. And finally an international cricket game resume with a test match between England and Windies on July 8th 2020 without audience.

One of the biggest coincidence happened in this match is both team captains are best ever all rounders in the world and both born in 1991Jason Holder, captain of Windies and the host captain Ben Stokes

Unfortunately regular captain Joe root could not able to play the first test match for host side and the responsibility loaded on the shoulder of Ben Stokes. In the first innings itself Ben Stokes took 4 wickets for 49 runs and 43 runs with bat. Stokes achieved a record after taking the wicket of Alsari Joseph.

That's 3rd wicket for Stokes in the first innings. In addition to that Stokes completed 150 wickets in his test career. Now Stokes joined as sixth player in the list of all-rounders who scored 4000 runs and 150 wickets in test matches. Garfield Sobers, Ian Botham, Kapil Dev, Daniel Vettori and Jacque Kallis are the other five players.

Also Stokes became the second fastest player to achieve this feet in his 64th match. Garfield Sobers tops the list in 63rd match.

A record has achieved in first international cricket match itself played after the serious pandemic. Cricket matches and its records are always unbreakable.
