Higher strength and safety cars can reduce fatality rate considerably. Its easy for a car to pass Bharat NCAP regulations until the Car Safety Program for India launched by GNCAP in 2014. It makes the availability of safety accessories like dual front airbags in entry level segment of a car. Moreover it creates some awareness to customers to choose cars in terms of safety not by means of price or mileage.
