                                     Pakistan always an unpredictable team in world cups. We cant able to predict when they perform well or well they fail to give their full potential. Even they doesnt know that, definitely this team may be the strongest ever Pakistan team in world cup. But the bunch of young guys impressed everyone. Pakistan start the tournament with a disaster defeat against Windies, later they bounce back and beat England, South Africa and New Zealand. When England beat New Zealand their semi final chance almost came to an end. They were forced to achieve an impossible margin win against Bangladesh to qualify for semi finals. A 316 runs margin win need if they bat first. And fortune gives opportunity to them to bat first.

                                     Pakistan set a target of 316 runs to Bangladesh after bat first. It means they have to restricted Bangladesh less than 1 run. Is that possible??? No way right. Still both entertain cricket fans with a good match. Pak posted the high target with the help of Imam Ul Haq hopeful century 100 from 100 balls with 7 boundaries. Another opener Fakhar Zaman failed to regain his form. Pakistan fans only hop Babar Azam missed his second century in this tournament by a shortage of 4 runs. Babar "Awesome" scored 96 runs from 98 balls  with 11 boundaries. He is the main reason for Imam' confidence in yesterday's match. At one point Pakistan were in condition of scoring less than 300 runs. But Imad Wasim one more blistering knock of 43 form 26 balls with 6 fours and 1 six helped Pak to scored 315/9 at the end of 50 overs. Bangladesh bowlers doesnt make any threat to opponent batsmen except Mehidy Hassan. Mehidy back to squad after injury and bowled too economically 3.0 at the end of his 10 overs with a wicket. Mustafizur Rahman went too expensive 75 runs from 10 overs. Still he grab his second 5 wicket haul in this world cup. Dont Know why Mortaza gave ball to Soumya Sarkar, he is the one who took wickets at crucial time in this tournament.

                         

                                     Since Bangladesh have chased more than 300 runs target in this tournament. They started the chase with confident. Shaheen Afridi took the stumps of Tamim Iqbal with in power play itself. Except Shakib Al Hasan no one played in the mind set of winning. The lose against India wiped their semi final opportunity, that may be the reason for their lack of confidence. Shakib scored 7th half century in the tournament 64 runs from 77 balls with 6 fours and was caught by Sarfaraz form a unexpected short pitch ball from Shaheen Afridi which is the game change ball of this match. Bangladesh went all out for 221 runs. Young Shaheen just 19 years old bowled exceptionally and over take the masterpiece Amir. Shaheen grab 6 wicket for 35 runs and posted the best figures in 2019 world cup till yesterday's match.  He is also the youngest player who took 6 wicket haul in world cup. He maintained 3.81 as his economy. Out of 6 wickets from Afridi, four wickets were taken by hitting the stumps including two yorkers. The way he bowled impressed everyone and ensure Pakistan's bowling attack in safer hands of youngster.

                                     No surprise that Shaheen was awarded as man of the match. Finally Pakistan finished this tournament with a win and stand at the 5th place in points table. For Shoaib Malik this is the final match in world cups. So Pakistan players honoured him by sending him front while coming inside ground and going out.

                                      Bangladesh.......... may not enter semi finals. But steals everyone's attention. Mashrafe Morataza played in his last world cup. As a captain he made every Bangladesh fans proud. The way they won against South Africa and Windies gave some vibes to top teams. Shakib Al Hasan, showed his peak performance in this world cup. He is the first all rounder in world cups with scoring 500+ runs and more than 10 wickets. Dont know still how many years will take to break this record. He equalled Sachin Tendulkar's record of scoring 7 half centuries which is maximum by a batsman in a single tournament.. He deserved to be a player of the tournament. Lets see. We already told they were no more minnows now, they transformed into monsters and they proved too. Thank you Pak and Bangladesh for entertaining us.
