Time to enroll new name in ICC World cup Trophy......

                                      ICC world cup 2019 started with 10 teams last month now it got reduced into two. England players are always aggressive at their home ground. They will become more aggressive if the opponent is their rivals Australia. But they will become most aggressive when they face Australia in world cup that too in a semi final match at their home. Before this world cup England had a worst record against India, New Zealand and Australia in world cups. That is they never beat the above teams in last 27 years of world cup history. Today they rewrite the history by beating all of them in a single world cup that too in consecutive matches. West Indies, India, Australia, Srilanka and Pakistan, only five teams lift the world cup till now. But 2019 going to add one more name in that list, it may England or New Zealand, but need wait for 3 more days to see that big moment in cricket history.

                                      Defending Champions Australia won the toss and decided to bat first at Birmingham. Chris Woakes and Jofra Archer didnt allow them to score big. Aaron Finch lost his wicket in his very first ball. David Warner gone for 9 runs. Two main pillars of Aussie batting went to pavilion. Steve Smith tried to save his team from a big collapse with the help of Alex Carey because Peter Handscomb lost his stumps to Woakes as 3rd wicket. A bouncer from Archer, made a direct contact with Carey's jaw which leads to bleed. But Carey continued his play and scored a memorable 46 runs. Playing with blood is the hobby for Australian players. They never gave any excuse during match. Maxwell 22 runs and Starc 29 runs contributed well at end made Australia to cross 200 runs. Steve Smith fantastic innings (85 runs from 119 balls with 6 fours) came to an end by a throw from Buttler. Australia went all out by scoring 223 runs at the end of 49th over. Jofra Archer and Chris Woakes dominated Australia by conceding only 52 runs from 18 overs and pick 5 wickets. Woakes took 3 important wickets and later was awarded as man of the match. Leg Spinner Rashid added 3 wickets in his account.

                                    Reachable target for England with their proper batting form. Only one question was there in front of England??? Whether Morgan and team will handle semi final pressure against Australia???? YES........ Since the target is very less Bairstow and Roy didnt make any mistake from starting itself they tried to reach the target as much as fast they can. England crossed 100 runs in 15th over itself without losing a single wicket. Mitchell Starc gave a breakthrough for Australia by taking Bairstow for 34 runs at 18th over. Jason Roy scored his half century and lost his wicket to Cummins for 85 runs from 65 balls with 9 boundaries and 5 sixes. Thats it, the openers gave a beautiful platform to Root and Morgan. Both didnt commit any mistake and reach the target at 33rd over itself. Root (49 runs from 46 balls ) and Morgan (45 runs from 39 balls) remains not out. England made their appearance in world cup finals after 27 years. For New Zealand its consecutive world cup finals.

Man of the match: Chris Woakes (3 wickets for 20 runs from 8 overs with 2.50 Economy)

                                          First ever semi final defeat for Australia in world cup since 1975. Aaron Finch failed to add his name along with Clarke, Ponting and Steve Waugh. Australia's world cup 2019 dream came to an end in the first innings itself. Before few months everyone though Australia will never qualify for semi finals. But they bounce back and reach semi finals. Each and every time Australia proving why they are champions. May be they lost this game but the truth is they performed well in this world cup. David Warner, Aaron Finch and Mitchell Starc were the key for Australia in reaching semi finals.

                                          One more match left in this tournament. In next three days by this time we will get to know who will be the champions of ICC World cup 2019. For both England and New Zealand this will be the first title if they win. England have already made 3 finals and lost all of them. New Zealand made one, last time but lost to Australia at their home. Already the celebrations started in England for the grand finale. Who have the lucky hands to lift the trophy??? Kane or Eoin????
